This year, we are thrilled to feature the renowned puppeteer Dr. Schroeder Cherry. A Baltimore-based artist, museum curator, and storyteller, Dr. Cherry brings African American life, folklore, and history to life through his vibrant puppets, evocative paintings, and mixed media creations.

Dr. Cherry tells the powerful story of a young boy discovering the Civil Rights Movement and the courageous role children played in shaping history. Through vivid storytelling and imaginative artistry, he brings the past to life, inspiring audiences with tales of resilience and the fight for equality.
